Do I need Gnatta licenses to use AI Agents?

No. Gnatta AI Agents is a standalone product. You can use it independently or alongside Gnatta’s human agent platform – licenses for human agents must be bought separately.

What counts as an interaction?

An interaction is any instance of a conversation between a customer and your AI Agent. Interactions are auto-closed by the AI Agent automatically, after an appropriate time period has elapsed.

How does auto-closure work?

AI Agents include built-in auto-closure logic to prevent interactions from remaining open indefinitely when customers stop responding. This ensures your queues stay manageable and agents focus on active conversations. The logic for auto-closure will depend on the conversation channel:

  • Chat interactions close automatically when the chat session is ended or disconnected
  • Emails & webforms close after 48 hours without a response from the customer
  • All other channels close after 12 hours without a response from the customer

How do I buy AI Agent interactions?

AI Agent interactions can be purchased in bundles. The bundle will be applied to your Gnatta account, and will be used up as the AI Agent handles customer interactions. Bundles must be bought in advance.

What if I exceed my purchased bundle?

Depending on the plan you agree to, you’ll either pay overage fees at standard rates or your service may throttle until you purchase an additional bundle.

Can I change my bundle size?

Yes, you can upgrade or modify your bundle. Contact us to discuss your changing needs.
